Five Relics, Five Photographers
Until 13.04, Museum of São Roque, Lisbon
The exhibition five relics, five photographers integrate a contemporary artistic look at the relic, through photography, and allows us to perceive the relic as an image, through the photographic approach that allows access to details that are not visible to the naked eye.
Within the research logic of the reliquiarum project, these will be the research dimensions placed before photographers Pedro Ferreira, Lucília Monteiro, Maria Beatriz de Vilhena, Sebastiano Raimondo and João Paulo Serafim, under the coordination of Paulo Catrica.
The relics will be in the centre of the chamber, revealing, by those who point, illuminate, shoot and edit, the interest in the subject.
